Taranaki’s Hair Stylist of the Year …goes to BRENDA !
Wahoo ! Thanks every one for a wicked as weekend at the regional hair comps – I won the trophy for the cut (that’s great considering my love of the scissors ;0)) And then went on to sharing FIRST equal… The Taranaki Hairdresser Of The Year 2018 ! With an over all highest points accumulated !
It’s a great feeling to have that one under my belt, and thank you to all the people who gave me lovely feedback throughout the day on their favorite styles that they saw me do ! And lets not forget my rad as models for letting me work some magic and have some fun. I will hold on to the’ bronze lady’ for the next 6 months ! Yay !
At the end of May- Donna, Rachel and myself had an awesome weekend away at The Collective – NZ’s largest hair event. We soaked up all the #style #inspo possible – rad hair cuts and colour’s from the serious talent bought to us under one ‘Cloud’ in Auckland. It was also a privilege to be part of the first hair event involving more than one brand under one roof …breaking barriers and encouraging as much education as you can handle.
There was no room for snobs as everyone was so cool and friendly… hot tips, comical antics and cheeky banter all weekend long. New friendships were made and catwalk moments with celebrity stylist’s (just ask Rachel!) and drinks with Tabitha ! Donna loved the ‘next gen’ stylists showcasing their talents at the final catwalk show before we headed off to the party. Check my instagram for pics.
